The first Monday back

The first Monday back after three weeks of rest and tranquility. Ever felt that?

Do I despise my job? Absolutely.

Do I occasionally regret steering my life towards becoming a lorry driver? Without a doubt.

But here’s the kicker—dwelling on what I despise won’t bring me joy. So today, I’m shifting gears. Let’s focus on the bright side, shall we?

This job? It’s more than just a means to an end. It’s what puts a roof over my head (okay, rented, but still), food on the table, and even affords me the occasional holiday. It helps me keep a solid sleep schedule, and most importantly, it puts my mom’s mind at ease.

The best part? It demands sweat, not brainpower. My biggest blunder so far? Not making the most of my spare time outside of work.

So, what’s the game plan moving forward? It starts with what I’m doing right now: writing, building an online presence, mastering WordPress, sharing my thoughts, and reaching an audience. I’ll admit, I initially created this blog with hopes of it padding my wallet, but 48 hours in, I realize it’s more about honing a skill and finding an outlet. It may not fast-track my career or income, but it’s a start.

Now, how do I boost my income? Generating ideas isn’t the issue; it’s bringing them to life. That’s where this blog comes in handy—it’s a springboard for turning thoughts into action. After all, once my ideas are out there in cyberspace, they feel a tad more tangible, don’t they?

So, what’s next? I’m starting small. I’ll pick the low-hanging fruit and pursue an idea that’ll likely bump my monthly earnings by a few hundred bucks. It won’t make me a millionaire, but it’s a step in the right direction.
